Solan Gundersens Mountain Marathon takes place in Alvdal on August 16, 2025, with the start and finish at Steimoegga Sports Facility. Participants can choose between distances of 1 km, 6 km, half marathon (22 km), and full marathon (48 km). The race is open to children, youth, and adults, and offers a challenging experience through Alvdal's beautiful hills and mountains, including Sten, Brannvålsberget, Baugsberget, Storfjellet, Kvebergsberget, and Høståsen. There will be food and drink stations along the route, but it is recommended to bring your own drink between the stations.
